Imtech UK “in discussions with interested parties”

Imtech UK is now “in discussions with interested parties” following yesterday's announcement that Dutch parent company Royal Imtech NV has gone into administration.

In a statement, Imtech UK said that while the announcement meant some change for Imtech UK and Ireland, it was continuing to trade as normal and is not subject to the administration. The firm, which has around 2,800 emplyees, is now operating under the sole control of the UK management team.

Imtech UK and Ireland said that while continuing its business, the firm is also assessing longer-term options and is in discussions with interested parties.

With a network of regional offices across the UK and Ireland, Imtech UK had a turnover of approximately £510 million in 2014.
