Bournemouth Water looks to market for options on dosing plant upgrade

Bournemouth Water is exploring possible options for an upgrade of its disinfection dosing system at its Woodgreen water treatment works.

The current system at the site, which has a maximum flow rate of 17 Mltrs/day, is a gas injection system (Chlorine and Sulphur Dioxide) using vacuum dosing and monitoring equipment.

The water company said it is looking at refurbishing or upgrading the disinfection dosing system -at this stage it is looking for further information from the market about possible options, commenting:

“Our specific requirements are not yet known, at this stage we are looking for communications with the market to get a feel for our options.”
