In the newly created role, Adrian Rees will work with different teams and disciplines from across the business to develop a fully integrated service offering for the water sector. A key focus will be bringing AECOM’s wider asset management experience to water clients, such as its pioneering ecosystem services work that is helping organisations assess the value of their natural capital. Adrian will also build on AECOM’s existing water asset management expertise, which includes a new consortium with software company SEAMS Ltd that is helping Yorkshire Water enhance its asset management processes.

Adrian joins AECOM from ICS Consulting, where he delivered strategic consulting advice to clients on a range of matters, including their Price Review and AMP period preparatory work. With nearly 25 years’ experience in regulatory and asset management planning, Adrian previously held positions at Thames Water, Yorkshire Water and Ofwat. He joined AECOM earlier this month.
