Welsh Water is also investing £513,000 in a scheme in the village of Trefor Isaf near Wrexham. When completed, the scheme will improve the performance of the network during storm weather conditions by reducing the number of times unscreened storm water is released into the Tref-y-Nant brook. This will deliver a boost to the environment by improving water quality in the watercourse. Work on the essential upgrade is expected to be completed in early July.
