South East Water : 17000 customers still without water this morning

South East Water is reporting that around 17000 customers are still without water this morning in the latest update on the current water supply situation.

Early this morning the water company was able to open its reservoirs and pump water into the network which supplies around 8,700 homes in a number of areas in Sussex.

Approximately 12,000 customers are without supply in Kent and Sussex – the utility is continuing work to restore supplies to these areas.

South East Water teams have continued to work through the night to repair leaks on the network with 71 fixed so far and over 100 identified for repair.
