Anglian Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for minor buildings maintenance works worth up to an estimated £32 million in total.

The water company is looking to appoint approximately 25 suppliers to a framework agreement to cover the supply of minor building maintenance works.
The majority of the jobs under the framework will fall below £5,000 - however there will be exceptions to this, such as road repairs, where the job values are likely to be higher.
The Anglian Water region covers Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, Rutland, Northampton, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Hartlepool. The utility is looking for suppliers that will be able to operate in at least one or more of these areas.
The framework is split into the following six Lots and suppliers will be able to bid for more than one Lots:
Lot 1: General Minor Building Maintenance Works
Lot 2: Roller Shutter Door Remedials
Lot 3: Fire Containment
Lot 4: Asbestos Removal
Lot 5: Roof Repairs
Lot 6: General Plumbing and Heating
The annual spend for the framework is around £4 million. Anglian will be looking to put agreements in place with suppliers for a fixed period of two years, with further extension options available up to 8 years in total.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 26 November 2021 – click here to access the tender documentation.
