The recruitment drive follows a stellar year for the firm, which has seen it grow their business, working with over 90% of water businesses across the UK and Ireland.

According to Gill Blandin-Ellis, HR Director at Stantec, the business is looking to recruit over 250 staff across the UK & Ireland business including specialists in water and hydropower to help deliver major infrastructure projects that will help its clients deliver real social value to its communities.

"Stantec is looking for people who can help deliver transformative infrastructure projects for our water clients"

Gill Blandin-Eliis commented:

“Investment in infrastructure has increased which presents opportunities for our clients to replace ageing infrastructure, transition to greener solutions and create more sustainable communities for the future.

“We are at the forefront of innovation and are looking for people who can help deliver transformative infrastructure projects for our water clients and who have an enthusiasm for contributing to industry initiatives such as our research partnership with UKWIR which examines the relationship between hydrogen production, water availability, emerging technologies, and the role water utilities can play in the hydrogen value chain across the UK and Ireland.”

Stantec’s inter-disciplinary teams, who have recently celebrated success at the British Construction Industry and Utility Week Awards, are expanding as they look to support an increasing number of opportunities with water utility clients across the UK and Ireland.

A wide variety of positions are now open for experienced candidates as well as those starting their career in water and environmental services.
