Nomenca starts 2013 by securing new frameworks

Specialist MEICA contractor Nomenca has secured three frameworks at the beginning of 2013, bringing in an estimated £10 million over the next 6 years.

Two of the frameworks are with Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, a new client for Nomenca. The first contract entails mechanical works from fabrication in both carbon and stainless steel to installation of pipework systems and mechanical plant, covering the entire Welsh Water region.

The second framework, Mechanical Support, covers 2 operational areas: North Wales and South East Wales including Herefordshire.  The provision of this operational support ranges from design and installation of mechanical fabrications, plant repairs and general installation.

Additionally, Nomenca has been selected as part of the Canal & River Trust’s Water Automation and Monitoring Maintenance (WAMM) Framework.  Covering the entire North of England, the 3-5 year maintenance framework encompasses 281 critical water control assets.

Mark Hanrahan, Business Development Director commented:

“This is a great start to 2013 for Nomenca.  We are looking forward to developing our relationship with our new Water client Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water after securing the 2 Mechanical Frameworks.

“The WAMM framework for the Canal & River Trust has followed 6 years of working on their previous SCADA and Telemetry contract.  We are delighted with the continuation of this key client relationship.”
