Anglian Water has been awarded the Utility of the Year Award for 2014 by the Home Builders Federation of England and Wales.
Anglian Water beat competition from over 100 companies for its consistently high levels of performance and customer service from its Developer Services team and partners, Kier May Gurney and Balfour Beatty.
Iain Amis, Anglian Water’s Head of Developer Services, said:
“We’re incredibly proud of this achievement. Being recognised as the best in the business against incredibly stiff competition from gas, electricity and telecom utilities such as BT Openreach, Scottish Southern Electric and British Gas is tremendous.
“Our focus on putting the customer at the heart of what we do has helped us to continually exceed customer’s expectations and ensure they are very satisfied with the service we provide.”
Presenting the award , the Federation said that other utilities could learn from Anglian Water’s engagement with its customers the way its service is being delivered.
The award was voted for by members of the HBF, the voice of the home building industry in England and Wales whose members deliver 80% of the new homes built each year.
