The Consumer Council for Water (CCWater) has welcomed the decision taken by nine water companies to give customers two years to try out a water meter and switch back for free if they decide it’s not for them.

Anglian Water is asking for help from homeowners in Peterborough and Milton Keynes to identify  their private sewage pumping stations.

 

The European Investment Bank has agreed to provide £500 million to support investment across the north-west of England by United Utilities.

Wessex Water has agreed a pioneering new trial for permits at sewage treatment works with the Environment Agency.
