AMP6 projects worth a total of around £454 million over five years are contributing to stable performance and a strong order book at Skanska in the UK, according to the company's latest trading update.

Over the past 10 years Anglian Water has invested £230 million to enhance the treatment process at nine of the region’s largest water recycling centres and enable them to produce renewable energy - and the firm is set to invest £millions more in AMP6.

 

The second quarterly report of developer service standards published by Water UK, the body which represents all the UK water companies, shows the firms have improved on their overall levels of delivery and performance.

Grontmij N.V., part of Sweco, Europe's leading architecture and engineering consultancy, has reported improved operating margin and stable revenues with the puiblication of its results for the third quarter of 2015.

There are still a handful of places left on the Anglian Water WIN Business in AMP6 event in Peterborough on October 30th.

South East Water is nearing completion of its major multi-million pound project water project to increase its capacity to move water to and from Crowthorne Service Reservoir in Swinley Forest.

Scottish Water has issued a “Don’t Drink, Don’t Cook” notice to residents in  Aultbea and the surrounding villages of Mellon Charles, Laide, First Coast, Second Coast, Achgarve, Mellon Udrigle and Opian.

As part of their Every Drop Counts campaign, Northumbrian Water is teaming up with Crowder Consulting to roll out a small-scale trial of CombiSmart, a water-saving valve which attaches to combination boilers in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland.

SaltendYorkshire Water is today announcing a comprehensive action plan to tackle odours from its Saltend waste water treatment works.
