Ofwat has launched an investigation following an appeal made against United Utilities about one of the conditions it proposes to attach to agreements to adopt sewers at two new developments.

Severn Trent’s ‘Help When You Need It’ scheme has more than quadrupled the number of customers receiving support with their water bills over the past two years.
