Mapal Green Energy, developers of the innovative floating fine bubble aeration system (FFBA) for wastewater treatment, has been shortlisted for the 2015 Environment and Energy Awards taking place in Birmingham this April.

South West Water has hosted a visit by local councillors to its Camels Head Sewage Treatment Works in Plymouth to learn more about proposed improvements worth over £3 million at the site.

South East Water has carried out another stage in its £4.3 million upgrade of a Kent treatment works near Pembury which supplies 34,000 customers in the Pembury and Tunbridge Wells area.

South East Water has installed 340 metres of new pipeline in the first phase of a new £8.1 million project to upgrade an old leaking water main in Kent since work began on 5 January.
