Pump hire specialist, Sykes Pumps has been awarded a one year extension to its Tier 1 framework agreement with Anglian Water with an option for a further extension.
The company has held the pump hire supply framework with Anglian Water since 2006 and re-tendered in 2011 when the original five-year contract expired. Sykes was then awarded a three-year deal with an option for a two year extension and has supplied many temporary pumps to Anglian Water over the past nine years.
The continued framework takes the relationship between the water company and the pump hire specialist forward into the AMP6 infrastructure improvement period and will see Sykes Pumps’ extensive fleet used both for day-to-day maintenance and management and for major schemes. The hire specialist provides a wide variety of pumps to Anglian Water, including diesel super-silenced , electric submersibles and hydraulic submersibles.
