Northern Ireland Water has awarded a sole supplier contract for technical inspection and testing services worth an estimated £2 million to Bureau Veritas UK Ltd.
The contract covers the statutory inspection and certification of lifting equipment and pressure systems. Work under the contract includes examination, assessment and reports on equipment, maintenance requirements for equipment and preparation of written schemes of examination for all NIW pressure systems and lifting equipment to ensure legislative compliance.
Birmingham- headquartered Bureau Veritas UK Ltd were one of two companies to bid for the work.
