Severn Trent Water has gone out to tender with an AMP6/7 contract for telemetry and control equipment to upgrade 2000 existing telemetry outstations and for the new installation of 1000 telemetry outstations.
The contract could run for up to eight years – an initial four year contract period followed by four 12 month extension options.
The water company is looking to procure:
- mains powered telemetry outstations;
- low power/battery telemetry outstations;
- optional pump controller functionality;
- associated spares;
- outstation support and training.
No information has been provided at this stage with regard to the overall potential value of the contract.
