The Environment Agency (EA) has gone out tender with a contract for industrial training services with an estimated value of £2.5 million.
The Agency is looking to appoint a maximum of 2 suppliers to the to Field Services Training Framework agreement which will run for 4 years.
The EA has around 1 000 people in Area operations field teams who are organised within 14 areas. The teams, which work out of depots in every English county, play a vital role in providing 24/7 response to flooding and pollution incidents and maintaining flood defence structures.
The framework is split into 2 lots:
Lot 1 High Risk Training (primarily plant)
Lot 2 Medium/lower risk Training
