Nomenca Ltd, part of NM Group, has retained its MEICA framework contract with the Environment Agency in the South West region – the firm is also expanding their current operational area.
The two year programme forms part of Nomenca’s service and maintenance portfolio and will see them deliver planned preventative maintenance, project works and a 24 hour 365 day reactive maintenance service to EA assets ranging from pump stations, flood gates, sluice gates, buildings and penstock.s
Nomenca has provided MEICA services to the EA for a decade in their North Wessex region which is a combined area of Somerset, Avon and the Northern section of West Wiltshire. In addition to retaining this area, the company has also been successful in being awarded the South Wessex region for the first time which covers Dorset and South Wiltshire.
Commenting on the award, Ben Wilson, Nomenca’s framework manager said,:
“The EA is a key client for us having worked together for such a long period. Our operational teams have been involved in both emergency, non MEICA related incidents, particularly in flood situations. We are obviously delighted to have retained this framework and are relishing the prospect of delivering across the South Wessex area.”
