Southern Water has gone out to tender with a contract for debt collection agency services worth an estimated £21 million.
The contract is being tendered in the following four Lots:
- Lot No: 1 Debt collection services for Southern Water of debts from 60 days of due date onwards.
- Lot No: 2 Debt Recovery Agency Collections Visits and Additional Data Services
- Lot No: 3 Debt Collection Agency Services for Deceased Accounts
- Lot No: 4 Debt Advice Visits and Outbound Telephony Services
Potential suppliers can bid for for all Lots – with a maximum number of three Lots awarded to any single tenderer.
The initial five year contract, which has renewal options of up to 3 years, includes performance incentive mechanisms relating to Customer Service and Cash Collection Service Levels.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 15th January 2018, while the estimated date of dispatch of invitations to tender or to participate to selected candidates is 2nd February 2018.
