Thames Water has gone out to tender with a contract for SAP software support and maintenance services worth an estimated £24 million.
The contract is being tendered in three separate Lots
- Lot 1 SAP licences — support and maintenance — entire Thames Water estate
- Lot 2 SAP licences — support and maintenance with Thames Water "project Spring" licence portfolio out of scope
- Lot 3 SAP licences — support and maintenance with Thames Water "project Spring" licence portfolio in scope
The water company intends to award either Lot 1 OR Lot 2 and Lot 3 – but not all three. This is due to the way the Thames Water SAP software estate is structured and the timelines of current software upgrade projects that impact SAP support and maintenance.
Any agreements awarded will be based on an initial term of 3 years, with options to extend up to 8 years maximum.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 2nd July 2016 – click here to access the tender documentation.
