WES Ltd., the leading manufacturer of chemical dosing systems for water, wastewater and process applications, has announced that it has been awarded a Chemical Dosing Framework Agreement by Thames Water.
The Lot 2 agreement for chemical dosing equipment covers chemical disinfection and dosing equipment, which will see WES supplying design expertise, engineering know-how and high quality dosing equipment to Thames Water.
The equipment will primarily be used on clean water sites across the Thames Water region and the framework will be 3 years initially with an option to extend to 7 years.
Thames Water is the UK's largest water and wastewater services company supplying around 2,600 million litres of tap water every day to 9 million customers across London and the Thames Valley. They also remove and treat more than 4,000 million litres of sewage for 15 million customers.
WES have worked with Thames Water for over 20 years supplying chemical dosing systems on clean and wastewater sites across their region.
The company said it was awarded the Lot 2 agreement after demonstrating a strong willingness to innovate and collaborate with Thames Water as well as offering products that are compliant with strong after sales support and response times.
Dick Tett, Sales & Marketing Director commented:
“We are very excited with the award of this framework agreement by Thames Water, as this has a potentially significant and positive impact on our growth plans. We are also proud to be helping Thames Water in our own way to deliver the largest water and wastewater capital expenditure programme in the UK.”
