West water treatment engineer Hydro International yesterday announced its second £1 million-plus contract in as many days. The Clevedon firm is to supply products for a large river clean-up project in the Belgian city of Namur.
The £1.29m contract includes installing Hydro's combined sewer overflow technology with 37 screen separators and a grit separator.
The three-year contract will be handled by the firm's water and wastewater division in Ely, Cambridge.
On Tuesday it announced a £1.1m contract for disc filter technology at a plant in the South of England.
Shares rose to a new high of 166p, up 9.5p, or 6.07 per cent on the day.
