Mott MacDonald appointed to Environment Agency Client Support Framework

Mott MacDonald has won a key place on the Client Support Framework (CSF) for the Environment Agency.

The CSF will run until 2023 and will be delivered through the Environment Agency’s Next Generation Supplier Arrangements (NGSA).

The framework will run alongside the Collaborative Delivery Framework (CDF) to mitigate the effects of climate change by reducing the risk of flooding, protecting the environment whilst promoting sustainable development.

The CSF aims to provide national consistency in technical and commercial delivery, independent assurance, review and advice to the client. It is also available to other Risk Management Authorities and DEFRA.

Mott MacDonald will work on both Lot 1 and Lot 2 of the CSF. Lot 1 will include technical delivery support including site supervision, construction design management, independent technical assurance, asset management, environmental services and reservoir engineering. Lot 2 will comprise of contract, cost and carbon management support services including full lifecycle project and programme management.

Framework manager at Mott MacDonald Mark Plowman said:
