Thames Water has gone out to tender with a contract for building construction work covering the provision of building renovation and remedial works worth almost £18 million in total.
Thames Water is seeking to award one or more framework agreements to suppliers capable of providing design services, building renovations and remedial works and supply of prefabricated cabins.
The water company said that due to the varying age of buildings and structures within the Thames Water estate, there is a need to carry out renovation and remedial works in order to ensure that they remain fit for purpose. The framework agreement will cover remedial works to external and internal areas, structures, fabric, surfaces and finishes to properties within the estate.
The £17.9 million contract is being tendered in the following Lots:

In the case of planning consent for either new or existing buildings, including listed status, the designer will work closely with Thames’ planning consultants to obtain the correct consent or planning permission.
