Thames Water has gone out to tender with a pumps framework contract for its upcoming AMP7 2020-25 investment programme worth up to an estimated £155 million in total.
The utility is looking for a number of partners for the design, supply, install, repair and maintenance of all waste and water pumps across the Thames Water and Alliance requirements.
The contract is being tendered in five separate Lots:
Lot 1: Design, supply and install, repair and maintain all water pumps (£20m)
Lot 2: Design, supply and install, repair and maintain all waste pumps (£80m)
Lot 3: Supply and install Sewage treatment (dry solids above 6 %) pumps (£5m)
Lot 4: Design, supply, install, repair and maintain flood prevention units (FLIPS) (£5m)
Lot 5: Design, supply, install, repair and maintain specialist/bespoke pumps (£10m)
Lot 6: Repair and maintenance of pumps (£35m)
Interested suppliers can bid for more than one Lot and can submit commercial bids for individual Lots as well as variant bids for combined Lots.
The contract will be awarded for an initial term of 3 years with further extension options up to a maximum duration of 8 years.
