Thames Water has awarded contract for fire alarm systems worth an estimated £3 million.
The provision of surveys, installations and warranty maintenance of open protocol fire alarm systems; services include: survey of sites, design of fire alarm systems, installation of systems and maintenance.
Fire alarm services to be provided under the contract include:
- initial surveying of sites to determine the requirements, issues and labour needed
- design of the appropriate fire alarm system
- installation of approved fire alarm system
- maintainance of the system during the 12 months warranty period.
Staffordshire-based firm Protec Fire Detection plc has been awarded the contract, which will run for an initial 5 year term, with options to extend up to a maximum overall term of 8 years.
