United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP7 framework contract for unsupported pump repairs worth an estimated £45 million.

The water company is inviting applications for companies to undertake the repair and refurbishment of pumps both on and off site for United Utilities’ operational sites. The work and services to be provided via the framework cover the repair / overhaul of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps that are used on company sites throughout its operational area.
The contract is being tendered in separate Lots as follows:
Lot 1 Submersible Pumps (£26.4 million)
Lot 2 Non-Submersible Pumps (£18 million)
Untited Utlities is looking to appoint up to eight suppliers to the framework.
