Yorkshire Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for the supply of new assets, repair, planned maintenance, parts, and hire of compressors and blowers worth an estimated £14.4 million.
The water company is looking to put a framework in place for the provision of goods and services across the Yorkshire Water region of supply.
The contract is being tendered in the following Lots:
- Lot 1 Supply and installation of Assets, Planned and reactive maintenance, Parts and Hire of Blowers and Compressors below 30kW (£8,320,000)
- Lot 2 Supply and installation of Assets, Planned and reactive maintenance, Parts and Hire of Blowers and Compressors above 30kW (£2,580,000)
- Lot 3 Supply and installation of Assets, Preventative maintenance, Reactive maintenance, Parts and Hire of Gas Compressors (£3,133,000)
- Lot 4 Supply and Installation for Aerzen Parts for Blowers and Compressors (£365,000)
The utility also reserves the right to award contracts combining Lots 1, 2 and 3. In addition to the operational value, a further £675000 may be awarded annually to the Programme Delivery side and procured via Yorkshire Water Framework Partners for Lots 1, 2 and 3. This will be for the duration of AMP 7.
Initial contract term will be for 36 months, with two further extension options of 36 months followed by an additional 24 months.
