Yorkshire Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for the dynamic maintenance of remote CSO cameras worth an estimated £3.5 million.

Yorkshire Water Services Limited ("YWS") is the 9th largest Water Utility in the world with a turnover of more than £950 million. YWS is one of the region's largest companies directly employing 3000 employees as well as indirectly employing many more through its contractors and support organisations.
The water company is seeking requests for tender participation for the establishment of a framework agreement for the provision of remote cameras and associated services used to monitor Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) on the wastewater network for the purposes of early identification of pollution events.
The framework agreement will potentially entail a combination of the provision, installation, maintenance, analytics software platform and other additional services for remote cameras to provide Yorkshire Water with monitoring of their assets across the water networks.
Successful suppliers will work alongside Yorkshire Water to provide, install and maintain remote CSO cameras alongside provision of an analytics platform and other additional services.
Estimated total value of the contract is £3.5 million.
The initial contract term will be for 36 months with a possible 24 month extension option.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 20 February 2022 - click here to access the tender documentation.
