Scottish Water tenders £7 million-plus multi-lot tanks framework contract

Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a multi-lot tanks framework contract worth an estimated £7.2 million.

Scope of the contract covers the design, supply, installation, and test of potable water storage tanks, chemical storage tanks, tanks (with or without roofs) for water and wastewater applications, including the holding of sludge and wash water.

Products to be supplied under the contract will be required to be Drinking Water Inspectorate Compliant and will be required in a variety of sizes depending on site requirements.

Scottish Water will provide a list of tanks sizes to become standard order to optimise efficiency.

Initial contract term is 8 years with four 1 year extension options.
