Eastbourne Borough Council has gone out to tender with a contract for downland water supply maintenance services worth an estimated £1 million.

The Council’s Downland Estate is made up of a number of farms, businesses and dwellings, all of which are served by a private water supply network.
The Council requires a contractor to provide ongoing maintenance and management of the network to ensure continuity, good water quality and upgrades to the distribution network.
The contract will run for a five year term.
