Severn Trent Water and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy are currently in the process of setting up a new Water Resources Qualification System and have issued a joint call inviting interested suppliers to register.

The companies want to establish a Qualification System for the purpose of sourcing Water Resources Management Consultancy.
The Qualification System will be split into the following Categories:-
- Category 1 - Hydrogeology
- Category 2 - Environmental Investigations of Abstraction Impact
- Category 3 - Hydro-ecological Monitoring/Sampling
- Category 4 - Ground Water Modelling
- Category 5 - Water Resources Modelling
- Category 6 - Strategic Environmental Appraisals
The purpose of the Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) is to assist participants to qualify onto the Qualification System.
Successful participants will then be eligible to receive a Request for Proposal (RFP) for contracts issued under the new system, which will be of indefinite duration.
