Thames Water is inviting Tier 1 contractors to register their interest in attending an upcoming webinar on 14 November for an introduction to its Capital Delivery AMP8 Major Projects Pipeline.

The water company’s Capital Delivery business is planning to spend around £790 million on major projects during AMP8.
Thames Water will be holding a webinar to provide an overview of its anticipated major projects pipeline for AMP8.
The webinar will provide further detail on the pipeline (where available), relating to the programme, delivery model, and key challenges and risks.
The Periodic Indicative Notice published by Thames says:
“The pipeline is relatively fluid and therefore neither the publication of the anticipated pipeline, nor any of the information presented at the webinar, should be taken as a commitment or representation on the part of Thames Water Utilities Ltd (or any other organisation) to enter into a contractual arrangement or to proceed with a procurement.”
It goes on to say that circumstances may change and the company cannot guarantee that the requirements, contract value, and/or timeline will be as stated.
Suggested attendees for the webinar are Tier 1 contractors who are interested in and capable of delivering major capital works projects typically of £30 million or above for Thames Water in the UK.

Thames Water will issue further periodic pipeline publications and associated events to provide visibility of the evolving Thames Water Capital Delivery major projects pipeline.
Estimated date of publication of a formal contract notice is 1 May 2025.
