Three Local Authorities in Wales have jointly awarded a contract for a multi-disciplinary consultancy service for the delivery of core engineering services worth an estimated £70 million in total.

Core services to be delivered to Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, Bridgend County Borough Council and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council under the agreement are:
- Civil and Highway Engineering Consultancy
- Transportation Consultancy
- Ground and Water Management Consultancy
- Site Supervision Consultancy
- Geotechnical Consultancy
- Structural Engineering Consultancy
- Cost Consultancy / Quantity Surveyor Services
- Project Management Services
- Ecologist
Non-core services that may also be delivered under the Agreement include:
- Archaeological and Cultural Heritage Consultancy
- Master Planning / Urban Design
- Architectural Design Services
- Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Design Services
Initial contract is 6 years commencing 1st April 2025 with the option to extend for a further 4 years.
