United Utilities has awarded an AMP8 framework contract for Monitoring & Control Systems Integration worth an estimated £77 million.
The scope of the new framework agreement allows for the design, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of Systems Integration software such as Design of SCADA/PLC/HMI Solutions and SCADA/PLC/HMI upgrades. This enables United Utilities to control the automation on site while providing standardisation and consistency on its sites, ensuring that all software is created and amended in line with the company’s standards and specifications.
Six companies were in the bidding for the work – the following companies have all been awarded a place on the framework.
- Adsyst (Automation) Ltd
- Cougar Automation Ltd.
- EJ Peak Technology Solutions Ltd
- Proeon Systems Ltd
- RSE (Ross-shire Engineering Ltd)
- TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES
The framework was procured via the Achilles Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB) qualification system.
