Anglian Water tenders £33 million AMP8 contract for nitrate removal solutions

Anglian Water has gone out to tender with an AMP8 contract for nitrate removal solutions worth an estimated £33 million (inc VAT).

The water company is currently assessing future delivery models for nitrate removal solutions as part of its ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality drinking water and meeting stringent environmental regulations.

Anglian Water said effective nitrate removal is critical to maintaining compliance and protecting water quality across its supply regions.

Current estimated start and end contract dates are 20 September 2025 to 19 August 2030, with a further option of up to five annual possible extensions to 18 August 2035.

Deadline to submit enquiries about the tender is 5:00pm on 3 July 2025 and deadline to submit a tender is 11:00pm on 15 July 2025.
