Sunderland City Council has awarded a contract on its framework to undertake drainage investigation and maintenance works located within the City of Sunderland worth an estimated £3.6 million (exc VAT).

The contract has been awarded to Durham-based firm ARM Pipetek Ltd, one of six companies who tendered for the work.
Sunderland City Council (SCC) was seeking to appoint up to three contractors to the framework when it went out to tender the contract with an estimated value of £4 million.
Initial contract term is two years with further potential extension options available.
