United Utilities has concluded the process of awarding framework agreements for its Operational Audit and Assurance Partners.

The Partners will provide audit services primarily to the maintenance team but also to the wider functions of United Utilities should the requirement arise. The nature of the projects/scope which the company requires audits to be provided include:
- Core Non core Developer Services (DS) and
- Metering Maintenance Service Provider (MSP) Incidents
United Utilities reeived 12 tenders for the framework which was tendered via the Achilles UVDB system – Chorley-based firm T Sumner Smith Ltd and Turner & Townsend Infrastructure Ltd have both been awarded contracts.
No information has been made available with regard to the estimated value of the contract.
