The Water Industry Commission for Scotland (WICS) has gone out to tender with a contract for the provision of consolidated IT services with an estimated total value of £144,000.

Scope of the contract covers the provision of consolidated IT services, including:
- Microsoft 365 support
- cyber security
- backup and disaster recovery
- technical consultancy
WICS is seeking to appoint a single supplier to provide a consolidated managed IT service supporting its Microsoft 365 cloudbased environment. The scope of services includes Microsoft 365 backup and disaster recovery, enhanced email security services (including Mimecast) and cyber awareness training, Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra ID administration and support, licensing management and optimisation, managed DMARC services, and the provision of drawdown technical consultancy support.
The contract will consolidate a number of existing IT services into a single managed service arrangement to improve service integration, cyber security and operational resilience. The contract is expected to commence on 1 June 2026 and will run for an initial period of four years to 31 May 2030.
