Severn Trent has awarded nine contracts for its AMP8 Innovation Strategic Partnerships Framework with an estimated value of £24 million including VAT.
Severn Trent has established a mature innovation capability that supports the identification, evaluation, trialling, and implementation of innovative solutions to deliver operational efficiencies, environmental improvements, and enhanced customer outcomes.
Severn Trent has established strategic partnerships with external organisations to support the continued development of this capability and respond to the increasing pace and complexity of innovation activity.
The requirement was to provide a structured and scalable approach to innovation collaboration, enabling consistent access to specialist expertise, emerging technologies, and market-leading solutions, while maximising value and supporting the delivery of strategic business objectives.

Earliest date the contract will be signed is 11 August 2026
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 17 August 2026 to 17 August 2031, with further possible extension options up to 17 July 2034.
