Central Bedfordshire Council has awarded a contract for water services to Wave – formerly Anglian Water Business - with an estimated value of c £372,000 (excluding VAT).

Scope of the contract covers the provision of water retail, supply and sewerage services for Council-operated sites across Central Bedfordshire. The Council's operational property portfolio covers approximately 42 water supplies.
The contract has been awarded through the LASER Y22013 Supply of Water and Sewerage Services Framework Agreement.
The framework provides for the award of call-off contracts by direct award. - a separate prior publication and competitive procurement by the Council was not required.
