Northumbrian Water wins Sunderland City Council legionella contract

Northumbrian Water is one of three suppliers to win a contract with Sunderland Council for legionella monitoring services.

The contract covers the provision of legionella monitoring and maintenance of water supplies across Sunderland City Council sites.

The water company was awarded the contract for the Washington and Coalfields area of the city.

Clearwater Technology Ltd and Belfast company Graham Environmental Services won contracts covering Sunderland North and East and Sunderland South and West respectively.

No information has been made available about the overall value of the contract, which runs for four years.
