Scottish Water tenders £15m sewage screen contract

Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a framework contract worth up to £15 million for screens and screenings handling.

The water company is looking to appoint a maximum of two suppliers to the framework agreement, which could run for up to twelve years. The initial contract will run from  1st April 2015 to 31st March  2021.

Estimated total value of purchases for the entire duration of the framework agreement is between £10m to £15m. The contract is divided into the following three lots to be supplied at any Scottish Water Location, each with a value of between £3m to £5m.

  • Lot 1: Supply and/or Installation of Inlet Screens
  • Lot 2: Supply and/or Installation of Screenings Handling
  • Lot 3: Supply and/or Installation of Sludge Screens
