The view of water regulation in England and Wales published today by the Public Accounts Committee is one-sided and misleading, according to Water UK.

Following the publication of a report on the role of Ofwat in the water industry, Edward Leigh MP, Chairman of the Committee of Public Accounts, today said:

OFWAT calls for longer view on AMP

The five year mindset developed by the AMP framework needs to be changed for a much longer cycle, according to George Day, OFWAT’s head of capital maintenance.
