Yorkshire Water is inviting expressions of interest from suppliers for a future tender to provide planned/reactive/emergency repair and maintenance works to its wastewater network with an estimated value of £500 million.

NI Water is inviting interested suppliers with mechanical installation, repair and maintenance service capability to get in touch ahead of going out to tender with a formal contract notice later this month.

The UK water companies are making increasingly strategic use of equipment hire as part of their their regular AMP7 activities, according to wastewater technology specialists HUBER Technology.

Severn Trent has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for waste infrastructure network services for itself and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig worth an estimated £504 million in total.£500m-plus. 

Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a framework contract for  capital investment, infrastructure repair and maintenance & Mechanical Electrical Instrumentation Control and Automation (MEICA) worth an estimated £5.2 billion in total.

Severn Trent Water and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig have gone out to tender with a contract for repair and maintenance services for its reservoirs worth an estimated £36 million.
