Macquarie Asset Management acquires majority stake in Southern Water and invests over £1bn-plus in new equity
Macquarie Asset Management, on behalf of its long-term investors including pension funds and insurance companies, has today announced it has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Southern Water and will invest over £1 billion in new equity to recapitalise the business.
