British Library launches flood research tool

The British Library has launched the flooding component of Envia - a new service, developed by the British Library, in partnership with Living With Environmental Change, to improve the discovery and access of environmental information.

Envia has been designed for use by environmental science professionals, and it enables the easy discovery of reports, PhD theses, data resources and journal articles. Currently the content in Envia is directed towards researchers and practitioners dealing with flooding.

During the initial beta testing phase, the British Library is seeking feedback from expert users in the flooding research and practitioner communities.

Curently still in development Envia will be tailored in the coming year in response to user feedback. It is not yet optimised for mobile devices.

Organisations or individuals who would like to be involved in shaping Envia’s evolution through the user group can sign up through the survey.

Click here to access the Envia search pages.
