St Regis Paper Co Ltd, the UK's largest waste paper recycling company, has been convicted of misleading the Environment Agency over the quality of effluent discharged from its papermill into a Devon river.

HYDRO WASTEWATER APPOINTED UK MEVA DISTRIBUTOR

HYDRO International, a leading provider of equipment for water and wastewater treatment, has announced a major extension to its partnership with Sweden’s Nordic Water AB to supply and service its flagship MEVA product range in the UK.

Leading European engineering consultancy Grontmij has been awarded a £4 million contract for the programme and project management of Thames Water’s high profile Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) project.

In a speech to the TUC’s annual Climate Change Conference yesterday, Energy Secretary Chris Huhn said that the Government is planning to radically reshape the UK energy system.
