National Infrastructure Commission - James Heath to step down as Commission CEO

The National Infrastructure Commission’s Chief Executive, James Heath, is stepping down in March 2025 after nearly five years in post.

NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE COMMISSION JAMES HEATH CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

During this time, James has worked with Commissioners to shape strategy and policy across the UK’s economic infrastructure sectors, culminating in the second National Infrastructure Assessment.

On behalf of the Commissioners, NIC Chairman Sir John Armitt, said:

‘‘I would like to thank James for his excellent leadership, guidance and support enabling the Commissioners and the executive team to produce a series of reports and the second NIA, which will inform government in the production of the ten-year infrastructure strategy. We wish James all the best in his future role’’.

After leaving the Commission, James will take up a new private sector role at Flint Global.
