Water industry regulator Ofwat is processing more retail market licences – Everflow Ltd. Has been awarded water and sewerage licences, while Greene King Brewery has been awarded the first self-supply water and sewerage licences.
Everflow Ltd applied to Ofwat in January 2017 for the retail licences - the firm already provides retail water and wastewater services to businesses in Scotland.
Everflow is now extending the service to English businesses with the opening of the retail market in next month. The firm is hoping to attract businesses through a commitment to transparent pricing, so that “customers can see exactly what they are getting for the money they pay.”
According to Everflow’s website, customers saved an average of £2,357 in 2016.
It also says that the firm welcomes Third Party Intermediaries and Resellers and works primarily with third parties to help reach out to customers.
